We only managed to get through two songs this month, but they're both corkers!
With such lovely weather we kicked off with an adapted spiritual "Great day".
Great day, great day and the sun is shining
Great day, the sun's gonna shine on everyone.
Then we tackled a rather trick Russian song "To ne veter vetku klonit". It's about a young man's lost love sung with typical Russian emotion:
There is no life here for me without my sweetheart
With whom shall I go now to the altar?
It seems that the fate of this young man
Is to be wed to the grave.
